just had another sting here in ca wherr they arrested a number of rso that were working construction without a license. so sad no one will hire and we can work they either fire us or even arrest us sick

I would say that most all police stings improperly target someone. Kudos to this judge. This same thing happened to a number of gay men in a park restroom and the local police saw it as an opportunity to rid the city of crime! The boys in blue conducted a sting, made arrests and it was tossed out in trial because a gay attorney stepped up and provided an aggressive defense. Police target middle aged, single white males in stings too…I know that for a fact!

As someone who was caught in an entrapment type police sting, I think they all should be done away with and all who have been so convicted should be exonerated immediately. They simply should not be allowed because they go after the wrong people, creating “sex offenders” out of those of us who aren’t. When a cop posing as a teen girl tries to get a guy to expose himself on camera, and the guy says something along the lines of “I think you’re a cop trying to trap people, so you go first,” that person is guilty of being a smart ass but isn’t a predator. Such is my life, forced to be away from my family for almost a decade, made to be homeless, can’t get work, labeled for life for being a smart ass. Anyone who says that the registry is about public safety is either a blatant liar or a complete imbecile!

Not to sound too ‘John Kasich’-y, the only adult in the room speaking. But come on now, the Mayor of LB is openly gay and he is targetting gays specifically. There seems to be no shortage of self-hate to go around. We have Mark Foley, who not only authored SORNA with John Walsh, admitted child rapist, but also wrote the law that made what he did on the internet a sex crime.
